"My one and only 'vanity' project! Over the many decades of my career, accompanying a multitude of singers from Sinatra to Sassy, Peggy Lee to Pavarotti, Manilow to Jarreau, I finally said, 'Hey, why not ME?' And so, with encouragement from Dave Frishberg, Bob Dorough, Red Mitchell and Jimmy Rowles, I started vocalizing. I had a ball putting together this compilation, taken from various CDs, house parties and live concerts. The musical smorgasbord runs from the sweetly sublime (Peace Waltz) to the hilarious (April In Fairbanks), from the pithy (Do You Miss New York?) to the clever (I Love A Piano).
